First, you should use an absolute reference to A1 in your formulas. Not matter where you copy this formula within your spreadsheet, this formula will always refer to A1. A simple SUMIF won't work as I need the individual IF statements to function independently, then add the results together. You should be able to use that example as the basis for solving your problem. I would also recommend you consider using a VLOOKUP function instead. Your incentive table is fairly complicated and I suspect subject to change over time. Keeping the table in a separate location on the spreadsheet and referring to it from a VLOOKUP function will make it much easier to change the contents of the incentive table. For hours 31-50, I get paid 237. It is not, so Excel does not display a C, but proceeds to the value-if-false argument which, of course, another IF statement underlined in purple.
